Coastal HSA Privacy Policy
As a Canadian company, we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of our clients’ personal information. We collect personal information such as name, date of birth, position, email address, address, banking information, dependents’ name and date of birth, healthcare receipts, doctor’s notes, and/or prescriptions. We collect this information to adjudicate health claims and provide our clients with a non-taxable benefit and business clients with a deductible business expense.

We use the personal information collected to process health claims. We do not use this information for any other purpose without the express consent of the client, except as required by law.
Disclosure of Personal Information:
Coastal HSA and its contractors can view this information. We do not share or disclose any personal information collected to any other third party, except as required by law.
Safeguarding Personal Information:
We take reasonable precautions to safeguard personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification. All data is encrypted. We ensure that all our employees and contractors are aware of their responsibilities for maintaining the confidentiality and security of personal information. We also conduct regular reviews of our privacy practices to ensure that they remain up-to-date and effective.

Clients may request access to their personal information collected by Coastal HSA. We will provide this information within a reasonable time frame, and any inaccuracies will be corrected upon request.
